REACTORIUM
Heart of the Event
One of the major attractions that awaits our guests is the Reactorium, i.e., a decommissioned PWR reactor transformed into a spectacular auditorium. While audience seats and video stage opposite each other alongside the curved reactor walls, a weak bluish light from the glass-covered reactor pool illuminates the otherwise dark room.
As a conference attendee you will soon realize the pivotal role of the Reactorium. Not only is it the major showroom of the conference with live panel discussions, expert interviews and presentations. You will also find all the information about the upcoming agenda and have the option to replay previously shown content at any time.

Each conference day the focus is on a different topic of the main theme "nuclear decommissioning and waste management". And to each topic, leading experts will share their knowledge and answer your questions in our moderated live panel discussions. Daily live panel discussions are not the only highlight at the DECON. Already ahead of and exclusively for the DECON conference, carefully chosen speaker interviews and presentations of professionals are recorded to each conference topic and will be released in the early morning on the respective conference day. This allows you an in-depth inside prior to the related live panel discussion later on that day. Enough time to gather information and send us your questions to the experts.
